Extension Upgrades for Firefox 2.0

Posted by Jeremy Gillick on 28 Oct 2006 10:35 pm in Miscellaneous

I’ve been getting loads of emails everyday from people requesting, or demanding in some cases, that I upgrade my extensions to be compatible for Firefox 2.0.  Be assured that I am working on this.  Right now I’m trying to get my server back up to 100% after it had been hacked twice.  I expect to be releasing updates next week — I appreciate your patients.

Thanks for the update - I’m sure this many people are breathing a sigh of relief - you were missing in action for a while there!

I’m curious as to what your opinion is on the file opening changes to FF2.0? — both from a user’s perspective and as an extension author.

Copy plain text is the best extension out there.

SwitchProxy please - it’s in constant use here in the land of multiple flakey proxies!

Yes please. SwitchProxy is a must-have for me. All the other proxy management extensions are complete crap in comparison.

I agree, Copy plain text & SwitchProxy are the best ff extension ever. I’ve tried some other Proxy extensions but none of them is at SwitchProxy Level. Please update both extensions and make us happy again… ;-)

and it works with Firefox 2.0 :-)

Hooray! Copy Plain Text sounds like it’s incredibly useful, but I haven’t been able to try it because I’m using Fx 2.

I greatly appreciate your work. And I too find Copy Plain Text to be the most useful extension for Firefox.
